It seems you are encountering issues while trying to sign up for a free trial of a subscription plan. Here are some common troubleshooting steps you can follow:

    1. Check Your Payment Method: Ensure that the credit card you are using is valid and has sufficient funds. Sometimes, cards can be declined due to insufficient balance or restrictions on international transactions.
    2. Billing Address: Make sure that the billing address you provided matches the address associated with your credit card. Any discrepancies can lead to issues during the payment process.
    3. Browser Issues: If you continue to face problems, try signing up using a different web browser or in an InPrivate/Incognito mode to avoid any cached data issues.
    4. Card Type: Note that certain types of cards, such as virtual or prepaid cards, may not be accepted for subscription payments. Ensure you are using a standard credit or debit card.

If you have checked all these and still face issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Microsoft Q&A is public, and we can only provide information. It is beyond our capability to assist directly with billing-related concerns.

May I know what troubleshooting steps have you already taken?

If you haven't tried anything yet, check if your payment method is up to date and has sufficient funds.

You can do this by signing in to your Microsoft account and going to the Payment & billing section. From there, you can view and update your payment options: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments

Double-check your card details. Make sure everything (card number, expiration date, CVV, billing address) is entered correctly.

If issue persists, please contact Microsoft Support via live chat for further assistance:

    • Here is the link: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact
    • Type this keyword and press Enter: Contact Support.
    • At the bottom, click "Sign in to contact support" and sign in with your Personal Microsoft account (Not work or school account), or click "Contact Support" if you're already signed in.
    • In Product and services, select "Microsoft 365 and Office".
    • In Category, select "Manage my subscription".
    • Click "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".

If you ever find yourself stuck in a loop, please use the keywords "Contact Support" or "Live Chat" (without the quotes) and click "Contact Support" at the bottom.

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.
