    Hi @R Singh

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on the error code you shared, I found that other users have encountered the same issue.

Here are several troubleshooting steps you can try:

1.Please sign out your accounts from Office applications, then close all Office applications.

2.Open File Explorer, paste the following path, and delete all files and folders you find inside this location:  %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy

3.In the Windows search bar, search for "Access Work or School" > check if you can see your business account in "Access Work or School".

-If you don't see it, please select Connect and add your business account.

-If you can see it, please select it and select Disconnect. After that, please click Connect and log into your account again.

4.Finally, run one Office application, sign into your account, and check again.

    I hope this helps.

To address the Outlook error "Something went wrong. [657rx]" and the message regarding the .ost file, you can follow these steps:

    1. Delete and Recreate the OST File: Since you mentioned that Outlook has already created a new .ost file, ensure that you have completely deleted the old one. Here’s how to do it:
      • Close Outlook.
      • Navigate to %localappdata%\Microsoft\Outlook.
      • Delete the .ost file associated with your Exchange account.
      • Restart Outlook and allow it to recreate the .ost file.
    2. Use the Inbox Repair Tool (Scanpst.exe): This tool can help diagnose and repair errors in your .ost file. You can find it in the Outlook installation directory. Run it on the .ost file to check for any issues.
    3. Check for Add-ins: Sometimes, add-ins can cause conflicts. You can disable them temporarily to see if it resolves the issue:
      • Open Outlook in Safe Mode by holding the Ctrl key while starting Outlook.
      • If it works fine in Safe Mode, go to File > Options > Add-ins and manage your add-ins by disabling them one by one to identify the culprit.
    4. Create a New Outlook Profile: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, creating a new profile may be necessary. You can transfer your add-ins by following these steps:
      • Open Control Panel and go to Mail > Show Profiles.
      • Create a new profile and set it up with your email accounts.
      • Reinstall your add-ins in the new profile.
      • You can export your settings and data from the old profile to the new one if needed.
    5. Contact Support: If the problem persists after trying these steps, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.

These steps should help you troubleshoot the error you are encountering in Outlook.
