Missing minecraft game code gc

so last year my sister got me a minecraft game gift code without the code on the back/ didn't read and threw out the receipt that had the code on it. So now I have a minecraft game gift card laying around unused and now can't use it and she wasted her money.

Could I possibly get a refund for the amount of the game on an Xbox gift card or the code of the gift card. Please or thank you.
