installed Office 2024 but won't let me use applications. No license and asks for 365 subscription

Installed Office 2024 on Mac home computer. when I attempt to use an application (Word, Excel..) it says no license found. Then asks for a Microsoft 365 subscription. It allows me to open Word or Excel in "read only" mode, no editing or saving.

    Hello, Please use the instruction here: https://support.microsoft.com/office/how-to-remove-office-license-files-on-a-mac-b032c0f6-a431-4dad-83a9-6b727c03b193 Download and run the license removal tool. Then reinstall and sign in, see if it works.
