To ensure your Windows 11 stays updated to the latest version, follow these steps:

    1. Enable Automatic Updates: Make sure that your settings allow Windows to automatically download and install updates. You can do this by going to Settings > Windows Update and ensuring that the option for Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available is turned on.
    2. Check for Updates Manually: You can also manually check for updates by navigating to Settings > Windows Update and clicking on Check for updates. If a newer version is available, you will see the option to download and install it.
    3. Keep Your Device Compatible: Ensure that your device meets the requirements for the latest updates. If your device is eligible for the newer version, it will be offered to you through Windows Update.
    4. Use the Installation Assistant: If you want to upgrade to a specific version, you can use the Windows 11 Installation Assistant, which can be downloaded from Microsoft's website. This tool will guide you through the upgrade process.

By following these steps, you can keep your Windows 11 updated with the latest features and security improvements.

    Hi, good day!

What is your current version of Windows 11?

Press Windows key+R to open Run then type: winver

    Press Enter

Please take a screenshot of the resulting window and post it in your next response.

Note: Don't include any personal information or sensitive data as Microsoft Q&A is a public forum.

I recommend using the Windows 11 Installation assistant to upgrade to the latest version of Windows 11 25H2 manually.

Note: It's always a good practice to backup your important files first before performing any Windows upgrade or reinstallation.

Few things to check on the PC

    • Unplug all external peripherals except for the Mouse, Keyboard, and LAN cable before starting
    • Disable or uninstall any third-party Antivirus program to prevent it from interfering with the upgrade

Alternatively, you can use the Windows 11 ISO by following the steps in the link below.
