When I enable "automatically decline new invitations for events that occur during this period," will I still receive an email invitation?

I will be OOO for an extended time. When I set up automatic replies, I saw the option of "automatically decline new invitations for events that occur during this period." If I enable that, will I still receive an Outlook email for the meeting, or will that be automatically deleted?

Thanks,

Stephanie

When you enable the option "automatically decline new invitations for events that occur during this period," you will still receive the email invitation for the meeting. The invitations will not be automatically deleted; instead, they will be processed according to your settings. This means that while the invitations will arrive in your inbox, they will be declined automatically if they fall within the specified out-of-office period.
