I could see status.dev.azure.com was showing "Investigating a service disruption" at the time you faced this issue.
If there’s a past incident that aligns with your concerns, details will be available on the Status history page, where you can view what services are impacted and the duration of incidents.
And currently, I can see everything is looking good in the status page. Please try testing the same again.
