Hi @gohan_rage ,
Thanks for the details!
According to Changes to Shopping in Edge, the feature “For You” section in Edge Shopping is currently designed for U.S. markets only at the moment, so the price drops you see are based on U.S. data and shown in USD even if your browser and account are set to Canada.
Unfortunately, there's currently no built-in way to force CAD or guarantee Canadian discounts right now. The only practical workaround I could find are:
- Confirm your Windows and Microsoft account region is set to Canada (helps future updates apply correctly).
- Keep Edge updated because Microsoft is gradually expanding localized support.
If you are tracking Amazon prices, you can use Camel or Keepa to set alerts in CAD and choose your own discount thresholds. It's a bit tedious but they can get the job done in the meantime.

Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classifies as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.
I’d also recommend submitting feedback directly in Edge (Settings → Help and feedback → Send feedback). This way the Product team can prioritize Canadian localization.
Hope this helps! If you have any questions, please comment below. I'll be happy to assist!
