I have recently found your Microsoft Edge browser Shopping feature I have been adding stuff to it to keep track of sales. I really wish I could track Items Indefinitely and choose higher than 20% off. I am getting Told about Sales only to go to click on the Link and there be No sale. in the sidebar shopping app there are two tabs one "For you" and the other "Insights" when I click on "For you" i will tell me that there is a 22% price drop on any item I have tracked by this program and when i Hover my Mouse over it I see US$139.99 US$179.96 I am Canadian I do not care about US sales I want Canadian Sales. prices in Canadian Dollars. when I click on something I have tracked on "For you" it takes me to Amazon.ca where there is no sale at all or the sale is puny. My browser language is set to Canada I even deleted US English to see if that would cause the app to change to Canadian Dollars insead telling me about sales on Items I want in US dollars.

    Hi @gohan_rage ,

    Thanks for the details!

According to Changes to Shopping in Edge, the feature “For You” section in Edge Shopping is currently designed for U.S. markets only at the moment, so the price drops you see are based on U.S. data and shown in USD even if your browser and account are set to Canada.

Unfortunately, there's currently no built-in way to force CAD or guarantee Canadian discounts right now. The only practical workaround I could find are:

    • Confirm your Windows and Microsoft account region is set to Canada (helps future updates apply correctly).
    • Keep Edge updated because Microsoft is gradually expanding localized support.

If you are tracking Amazon prices, you can use Camel or Keepa to set alerts in CAD and choose your own discount thresholds. It's a bit tedious but they can get the job done in the meantime.

Disclaimer: These are non-Microsoft websites. The pages appear to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classifies as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

I’d also recommend submitting feedback directly in Edge (Settings → Help and feedback → Send feedback). This way the Product team can prioritize Canadian localization.

Hope this helps! If you have any questions, please comment below. I'll be happy to assist!
