I have a new Pixel 10 Pro and can't get outlook to work. I was getting a 5ssai error message but finally was able to add an account, but no emails are received. I have cleared the cache and storage within the outlook app and also uninstalled and reinstalled. I even had Microsoft on the phone and they couldn't help.

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with Outlook on your Pixel 10 Pro. Since you've already cleared the cache, uninstalled, and reinstalled the app, here are a few additional steps you can try:

    1. Check Background Synchronization: Ensure that background synchronization is enabled for Outlook. If it's disabled, you may not receive new emails until you open the app. You can check this in your device settings under battery optimization.
    2. Data Saver Settings: If you have Data Saver enabled on your device, make sure to allow unrestricted data usage for Outlook. This can prevent the app from syncing properly.
    3. App Permissions: Verify that Outlook has the necessary permissions to access your device's storage and network. Go to Settings > Apps > Outlook > Permissions and ensure everything is enabled.
    4. Account Configuration: Double-check the account settings you used to add your email account in Outlook. Ensure that the server settings (like IMAP/SMTP) are correct for your email provider.
    5. Device Compatibility: Make sure that your Pixel 10 Pro is running the latest version of Android, as compatibility issues can sometimes arise with new devices.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, it may be worth reaching out to Microsoft support again or checking their forums for similar issues reported by other users.

Hello Jeff, your Outlook emails aren't syncing, despite the app being installed and your account being added. This often stems from a sync problem, not the program itself. On Pixel phones, battery settings could be limiting Outlook, or the account setup may be incomplete. Please check if Outlook's battery use is unrestricted under Settings > Apps > Outlook > Battery. Then, check that sync is enabled both in Outlook and your phone's Account settings. For those using two-factor authentication, ensure your account uses OAuth, not basic credentials. When testing, are you on Wi-Fi or mobile data? Do other programs, such as Gmail, sync without issue?
