Remove Consent from a Family Account

I was sent here by Customer Support.

I am the owner of a family subscription plan. None of the 4 members on the plan are children, but grown adults.

One of the family members is unable to log into their account and must provide parent consent to access their account. When I attempt to give consent from my account, I receive a message that I cannot give consent.

I want to remove the consent feature from this account but cannot follow the procedures provided by the Customer Supporter Clint Dexter. Clint Dexter sent me here.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

If you're unable to provide consent then it may be you don't have full parental access. However, if the children are over the age of majority then they should be able to resolve the problem by leaving the family either via https://xbox.com/family or by using the Xbox Family app on their mobile device.

Thanks for letting me know. In this case then she'll need help from official support via online chat. She will need to start the chat with support as they can only help the account owner. She can start a chat via https://support.microsoft.com and click on Contact Us. Have her let them know what she's already done without luck and they should be able to help.
