How do I disable this ridiculous pop-up every time I open Edge? "Try the new Copilot Discover

Refresh your feed with a new design and stories curated for you."

I have tried enabling it and it put a bunch of crap on my browser screen so, I disabled everything manually and turned it back off. Exited and re-started browser it was gone until the next time I opened it again. I don't need, nor do I want all those "Headlines" staring me in the face every time I want to go online! Micro$oft needs to stop forcing all this useless CRAP in our faces! If I wanted any of that content, I'm sure I could find it on my own!

    Hello,

To disable all the copilot features go to settings in your microsoft edge, then search copilot and uncheck all the options you can find.

If you want to go further you can disable copilot from group policy.

It is called Disable Windows Copilot and can be found under User Configuration => Administrative Templates => Windows Components => Windows Copilot**.**

There are many ways to launch the group policy editor. You can do a search from the WINDOWS SEARCH TOOL BAR for "group policy" or it can be opened from the Command Prompt. Open a Windows Command Prompt and type 'gpedit' or 'gpedit. msc', then hit Enter

    Hope this helps,

    JC
