Thanks for reaching out Robert, it seems your PC might be using an old installer instead of the current Microsoft 365 apps. This often occurs if the device links to an old Office license, or the download page defaults to older versions.

First, when you log in to office.com with your 365 account, do you see Install apps followed by Microsoft 365 apps? If not, it could be due to a different account or saved credentials. Try signing out of all Office accounts on the PC, clear your browser's cache, and then sign back in using your subscription email.

Also, check your account settings to ensure your subscription lists Microsoft 365 Basic under Services & Subscriptions. If you're still getting the .bat file, is it from a company portaal or a direct Microsoft link?

Hi Robert Rogers, I just wanted to follow up and see how things are going with adding your new PC to your Microsoft 365 Basic subscription. Let us know if the apps are up and running now or if you’re still stuck so we can figure out the next step together. Looking forward to hearing your updates.
