    Hey there, vikas kumar

The Azure credits ($100) comes with the Azure Student subscription, which you will need to apply for, through this link: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2062405&clcid=0x409

You will need to have a university email address which is used to verify you are a student when signing up. You will need to meet the requirements for this subscription, which can be found here: https://dori-uw-1.kuma-moon.com/en-us/azure/education-hub/azure-dev-tools-teaching/program-faq#azure-for-students

For a list of what is included in the GitHub Student Developer pack, please visit this link here: https://education.github.com/pack

You will need to scroll down to the experiences section where you can view what is included. If you scroll further down, you will see the section called "All offers"

At the top of this section, you will see a notification that tells you

Additional benefits are not included in the Student Developer Pack, but are exclusively offered by GitHub and partners for this Experience.

User's image As you can see, Azure is listed as a partner offer. However, there isn't a link on that page where it directs you to apply for the subscription.

    Hope this information helps,
    Nathan

    Hello vikas kumar,

Thanks for posting your question in Microsoft Q&A forum

It sounds like you're having trouble claiming your Azure credits from the GitHub Education Pack. Here's a breakdown of steps and tips that might help you out:

Ensure Eligibility: Make sure that you are still an eligible student. The Azure for Students Starter offer is available only to verified students and typically lasts for one year. You need to revalidate your student status to renew your credits.

Sign in with GitHub: When signing up for Azure using the GitHub Education Pack, be sure to use the "Sign in with GitHub" option. It’s important to use your GitHub user ID (not your email) and ensure that your Azure email address is correctly set up under your GitHub account settings.

Activate the Benefits: After signing in, follow these steps:

    • Go to the Azure activation link provided by GitHub.
      • Ensure you click on the Activate Now button for Azure benefits.
        • If prompted, enter the unique code generated from GitHub to redeem your Azure credits.
Subscription Type: Check your current Azure subscription type. If you signed up for a Pay-As-You-Go subscription instead of the Azure Free Trial, you may not be eligible for the free credits. You can check your subscription status in the Azure portal. Check for Errors: If you encounter an error message indicating that the free trial isn't available, this might mean that your account is associated with a previous Azure subscription. In that case, consider reaching out for further assistance.

If you follow these steps and still encounter issues, it might be helpful to provide additional details like:

    • Have you previously created an Azure account?
    • Are you currently using any Azure services?
    • Did you receive a confirmation email from GitHub after attempting to activate the Azure credits?
