Hi @Ivan Djakie
Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Q&A forum.
I understand how important it is to access and export your mailbox data, especially since your emails are over five years old and you need them for migration to a new hosting provider.
To better assist you, could you please clarify the following:
- What is the account type of the affected mailbox: POP, IMAP, or Exchange?
From my research:
- Exchange or IMAP accounts usually sync with the server, meaning your data should be stored online.
- POP accounts, however, store emails locally under the folder “On My Computer.
If the On My Computer folder is hidden, you can enable it to check whether any messages are stored there.
Also, if you have more than one Outlook profile or identity, please make sure you select the one that contains the old local data. You can set the default profile by following the steps in this article: Manage profiles or identities in Outlook for Mac - Microsoft Support
If the issue persists, for visual confirmation, could you share a screenshot showing that On My Computer is enabled in your legacy Outlook for Mac and what you currently see? Please send this via private message. Check your inbox for an email with the subject “New private message on Microsoft Q&A question” to review my response.
If your messages are stored in On My Computer, you can export them to an .olm file. For detailed guidance, refer to: Export items to an archive file in Outlook for Mac - Microsoft Support
I hope this helps! If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out.
