Azure Startup Credits not approved after 3 weeks — Verification stuck on “Pending”

Hi, I need help with an issue related to my Azure for Startups credits.

Three weeks ago, I completed all the required steps in the Startup Profile to unlock the additional $4,000 in Azure credits. I submitted my business information and uploaded an official government document. The portal states that verification takes up to 5 business days, but the status has remained “Pending” since the day I submitted it.

Our initial credits have run out, and we were forced to temporarily pause activity on our platform. This is affecting our business operations and our ability to continue development.

I have already submitted two support tickets through Azure Support, but I have not received a response yet. Since our platform depends entirely on Azure services, we urgently need the credit activation or an update on the verification process.

Could someone from the Azure team help review our Startup verification and accelerate the credit approval?

Thank you in advance.

    Hi @Ricardo Lopez,

Thank you for reaching out on Microsoft Q&A forum.

I understand that you are not able to unlock additional $4000 in Azure credits.

To move your case forward, please try the following:

    1. Re-upload your government-issued business registration
    2. Verify that your Startup Program profile information matches your legal entity name exactly.
    3. If you are still facing the issue, you can open a support ticket as follows:
    • Sign in to the Microsoft for Startups Portal.
    • Select the "?" icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
    • Select "Submit a Support Ticket". Attach relevant documents or screenshot of errors as needed.
