To add your Hotmail account to your new phone, you can follow these general steps:

    1. Open the Email App: On your new phone, open the email application you wish to use (like Gmail or the default email app).
    2. Add Account: Look for an option to add a new account. This is usually found in the settings or account section of the app.
    3. Select Email Type: Choose "Outlook" or "Hotmail" as the type of account you want to add.
    4. Enter Your Email and Password: Input your Hotmail email address and password. If you have two-step verification enabled, you may need to generate an app password as well.
    5. Follow Prompts: Follow any additional prompts to complete the setup.

If you encounter any issues, ensure that your internet connection is stable and that you are entering the correct credentials. You might also want to check if your email settings are configured correctly for IMAP access if applicable.

If you need to set up two-step verification or create an app password for your Hotmail account, you can refer to the Microsoft documentation on how to do this.
