there are the three list i was trying to add to three different agent the first list i tried to add and when asked question related to it i wont give me answers, similar for the second on for the third one which is a test list i was getting the answer not at first but later for the test agent, now the same url for the first two list i added to M365 copilot and tried to ask the question for the first list
I found related items in the SharePoint list. Here’s a concise summary of the most relevant insights: this was the answer i got

on testing the second one -I couldn’t access or retrieve any content from the provided SharePoint link—it appears that the data is either restricted or not indexed for search. To proceed, you have two options: Download and upload the file or export the list from SharePoint here, and I can summarize it for you. Grant me the key details (e.g., event names, dates, competitor/customer info) you want summarized, and I’ll create a concise overview. Which option works best for you? this is what it gave now
what could be the underlying issue because there are thousand of list which would someday be used by the agent for a knowledge source but i need to get the answers from the agent based on respective list

    Hello Anvesha Raikwar ,
Copilot’s ability to retrieve SharePoint list data depends on proper search indexing, permissions, connector setup, and list structure. Newly created or updated lists—especially large or complex ones—may not be indexed yet, causing retrieval failures. Permission issues or misconfigured connectors can also block access. Simpler test lists often work because they index faster and use basic columns.

To ensure reliable use at scale, verify indexing status, confirm correct permissions, properly configure connectors, monitor search diagnostics, and consider breaking up very large lists or using Dataverse for complex data.
