Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details about the Agenda and Loop integration in Outlook meetings. I understand how important this feature is for your workflow, and I appreciate the time you took to describe the issue clearly.
Based on what you’ve described, the behavior you’re seeing is not device related. The agenda option in Outlook is still available, but it’s currently in a phased rollout and has some limitations:
- It works best when the meeting is created in Outlook Web and is set as an online meeting (Teams enabled).
- The feature requires Loop to be enabled for your tenant and a Microsoft 365 Business or Enterprise license.
- Meetings created by organizers in different tenants or with different licenses may not display the agenda option consistently.
- If the Loop component is shared with restricted permissions, the Agenda UI can fail and show compatibility errors.
Microsoft has not removed this feature, but it’s still evolving and may behave differently depending on the meeting type and environment.
There are some steps you can try:
1/ Open the meeting in Outlook Web
- Go to Outlook on the web.
- Open the meeting from your calendar.
- Check if the agenda option appears under the meeting details.
- If it does, the issue may be with the Outlook Desktop client version.
2/ Confirm the meeting is an Online Meeting
- In the meeting details, verify that Teams meeting is enabled.
- If not, edit the meeting and select Add online meeting (Teams).
- Save and reopen the meeting to see if the agenda option appears.
3/ Verify Loop is enabled for your organization
Ask your IT admin to confirm that Loop components are turned on in Microsoft 365 admin center.
- Sign in to Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Navigate to Settings > Choose Org settings.
- Under Services, look for Loop components.
- Click on it to open the settings.
- Ensure Allow Loop components in Microsoft 365 apps is checked.
- Click on Save.
4/ Check organizer’s account and permissions
- Confirm if the meeting organizer is in the same tenant and using a Microsoft 365 Business or Enterprise license.
- If the organizer is external or using a different license type, the agenda option may not appear.
Ask your IT admin to check the organizer’s Microsoft 365 license in the Admin Center:
- Go to Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
- Navigate to Users > Active users.
- Search and choose the organizer’s name.
- Under Licenses and Apps, confirm they have a Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Business Premium, or Enterprise license.
- If they are using a basic or third party-hosted license (e.g., GoDaddy), Loop features may be limited.
5/ Review sharing permissions on the Loop component
- Open the Loop file linked in the meeting.
- Ensure its shared with all attendees and not restricted to the organizer only.
