I receive 2-3 SPAM one note files shared with me Daily. Why does one drive not have a toggle to make people request to be able to share files?

Why would microsoft leave this vector for SPAM AND MALWARE open??

    Hi Steven,

Thank you for posting, I am here to help. To add more security on your OneDrive we recommend you to use the Two factor verification like Microsoft Authenticator, You can also enable the encryption on your OneDrive by enabling it from your mobile device. If you are also subscribed to Microsoft 365 it will give you an advance protection from viruses and cyber crime.

for more information you can check this article from Microsoft:

As of now no toggle setting on the OneDrive when sharing data, folder or files.

OneDrive can let you share this to some user or specific people by clicking the share link at the top of the page.
