I currently have a Win 11 Dell PC with Microsoft Money 2007. For some reason the Money program has used 42GB when I checked it with a DiskSavvy program. My C: drive is almost full. I would like to uninstall the Money 2007 program and reinstall the MS Money Sunset Deluxe program to replace it. If that works can I import my old MS Money 2007 files into the MS Money Sunset Deluxe program. Any suggestions or things to beware of so I don't crash my computer. Thanks

Thank you for posting, I am here to help. If you are upgrading from a previous version of Microsoft Money, you can import your existing .MNY files directly into the Sunset Deluxe edition. Simply use the “File > Open” menu to locate and load your old files.

You can directly open your old Microsoft Money 2007 (.mny) data file in Microsoft Money Plus Sunset Deluxe; no special export process is required from the old software. The Sunset Deluxe version is designed to be compatible with and convert data files from previous versions.

Hi again Jansher, thank you for the info on the Money program. If you have time, I am a novice at this and hesitate to choose an unknown, I have three statements that would help me know how to proceed with a "C Drive that's almost full, used 106GB of 108GB. 1. Allow files on this drive to have contents indexed in addition to file properties. 2. Compress this drive to save disk space. 3. Optimize and defragment drive to help it run more efficiently. Do you recommend I do any of these. Thanks in advance for your comments. D Kramer
