If your OneDrive data is not visible, there are a few options you can explore to restore it:
- Check the Recycle Bin: Deleted files in OneDrive are moved to the recycle bin and are kept for a designated time before being permanently deleted. You can restore files from the recycle bin if they are still available there.
- Use Files Restore: OneDrive has a Files Restore feature that allows you to restore files to any point over the past 30 days. You can select the desired recovery time using a histogram that shows file activity.
- Restore from Backup: If your organization uses Microsoft 365 Backup, you can restore data from a backup. You would need to select the date from which you want to restore files and follow the prompts to restore the necessary content.
- PowerShell Restoration: If the user account associated with the OneDrive was deleted, and it has been less than 30 days, you can restore the user and their OneDrive from the Microsoft 365 admin center. If more than 30 days have passed, you may need to use PowerShell commands to check if the OneDrive is available for restoration.
If you have already tried these methods and they did not work, it may be worth reaching out to your IT support for further assistance.
