Good evening. my computer got damaaged in the rain i had to get a brand new one and i can't see that my office suite has come over its made me reinstall it. I bouht the product key from JB hi fi i think but the receipt has faded i can't see a thing. I can't remember the email i used could be ******@outlook.com or ******@outlook.com number could be +61 400 790 593 or +61 431297 488 i urgently need to get it put back onto my computer and don't know how it keeps making me sign in taking me to QR code or product code i scan the qr code it then does nothing and says it can't sign me in, the product key won't work as i don't have it so i am continually stuck on the same screen and cannot use it. i need to urgently get the suite downloaded onto my computer i used it for quite awhile on my old computer and now i need to pick up where i left off please urgently help i am desperate. Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details. I completely understand how frustrating this must be, and I’m here to help you get this sorted. First, do you remember if you ever signed in to Office using a Microsoft account instead of just entering a product key?
For example, did you use your email to access OneDrive or Outlook on your old computer? This is important because if your Office license is linked to an account, that’s the easiest way to restore your suite without needing the product key.
If you’re unsure which email you used, start by recovering your Microsoft account at https://account.live.com/acsr Enter any email or phone number you think might be linked, and Microsoft will send a verification code. If you don’t have access to those, choose “I don’t have any of these” and follow the recovery steps.
If you bought Office from JB Hi-Fi, your product key is usually printed on the receipt or card inside the box. If the receipt has faded, check your JB Hi-Fi online account if you purchased online, or look at your bank statement for the purchase date and contact JB Hi-Fi support, they can often reissue the key.
If you previously activated Office with a Microsoft account, you don’t need the key again. Just sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/services If you see Microsoft 365 or Office listed there, click Install to download and activate automatically.
If you’re stuck in a QR code loop, it usually means Office is expecting an account instead of a key, or the app is stuck in sign-in mode. Close all Office apps, go to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school, remove any old accounts, and then reinstall Office from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/office
If none of this works, contact Microsoft Support directly at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus Choose “Get help with Office” and select Chat or Call.
They can verify your purchase and restore access even without the key.
