Your account is locked behind MFA because it’s a safeguard against unauthorized access. When the registered device or phone number is missing, Microsoft can’t confirm your identity using the usual method, so you need to use recovery options.

Here are the steps to regain access:

Go to the Microsoft Account Recovery page: https://account.live.com/password/reset

When prompted for verification, choose “I don’t have any of these” or “I can’t use my authenticator app”.

    Follow the identity verification process:

Provide an alternate email address or security details.

Microsoft may ask for recent transaction info or subject lines from past emails.

Once verified, sign in and update your MFA settings:

    Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info .

Add a new phone number or set up the Microsoft Authenticator app on a new device.

Let me know how it goes, Happy to help!
