    Hi @CalvinZolovoski,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A, and thank you for reaching out to us.

Based on your description, to better assist you, could you confirm what you mean by “can't download the items”? Are you referring you unable to download email attachments (e.g., PDFs, images), or messages for offline use?

Additionally, please share more details about the issue, such as any error codes you encountered or whether the download option is missing. This helps me research and find solution that tailor to your current situation.

    Looking forward to your response.

If you're having trouble downloading items in the Outlook app on your Android device, there are a few potential reasons for this issue:

    1. Attachment Rendering: Unlike iOS, Android does not provide native content rendering for attachments. Therefore, you may need to have the Office apps or third-party apps installed to render attachment content properly.
    2. Sync Issues: Ensure that your Outlook app is syncing correctly. If the app is suspended during sync or if there are accrued sync errors, it might prevent items from downloading.
    3. App Permissions: Check if the Outlook app has the necessary permissions to access storage on your device. Without these permissions, it may not be able to download or save attachments.
    4. Network Connection: Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Sometimes, a poor connection can affect the ability to download items.
    5. App Updates: Ensure that your Outlook app is updated to the latest version, as updates often include bug fixes and improvements.

If you've tried these suggestions and are still facing issues, consider restarting your device or reinstalling the Outlook app to see if that resolves the problem.
