One drive search not recognizing tag information

Microsoft one drive still appears to have a bug... it does not recognize searching by tag....if pictures are tagged with key words, they still cannot be recalled using the tag in the search bar. When will this be fixed ? Thank you

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum

No permanent fix has been announced for this issue yet. But there is workaround for you to use to search by tag:

Try this link https://photos.onedrive.com/explore/things/thing?id=testmytagsplease and replace "testmytagsplease" with your tag.

This as a temporary workaround to pull tagged pictures while the main search is not able to search tagged pictures.

link was blocked by One Drive. I still have no way to search photos for tags I input. This is a serious concern as I have entered hundreds of tags on uploaded pictures. .

I have also tested the workaround again yesterday and today.

It seems the method is no longer viable, but there is a good new, now you can search for tagged images directly.

Go to OneDrive gallery site: https://onedrive.live.com/?view=8

Look for the search box above, it should be located at the lower half of the site in the middle.

Type your tag in it and it should be able to search for all of the images with that tag in your gallery.

I get the following error when trying to use the work-around:

The page you are trying to view either no longer exists or you do not have access.

I've tried replacing 'testmytagsplease' with multiple queries.
