    Hello @Alan Crockett
Thank you for posting question to Microsoft Q&A Forum.
Updated from Alan: This issue has been self-resolved. The issue was from Access file itself.

According to this issue, please provide me more information about this - I will send a private message to you if you could explain more about the Excel file which you tried to import data from.

Based on my research, may I know if you have enabled macros on your Access by going to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Macro Settings > Enable macros?

Please check on private message when you are available.

I am looking forward to your response.

Alan, you haven’t given us much information to help you troubleshoot. Does this error occur with all Excel files? Has this process ever worked? If you create a simple Excel files, can you import it? How many columns are in the Excel files?

Have you attempted to link the Excel file?

I am not able to follow your directions for checking on macros. Clicking on file does not give me a choice of options. I get Home, New, Open, Info, Save As, Print, Close. Is there a missing step?
