To resolve the error code 30033-44 while installing Visio 2013 on your new Windows 11 computer, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check System Requirements: Ensure that your computer meets the system requirements for Visio 2013. If your system is not compatible, you may encounter installation issues.
    2. Use the Correct Installation Technology: Since you have Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024 installed, ensure that you are not trying to install Visio 2013 using a conflicting installation technology. Office 2013 typically uses Windows Installer (MSI), while newer versions use Click-to-Run. You cannot install two products with the same version but different installation technologies.
    3. Clean Installation: If you have previously attempted to install Visio, remnants of that installation may cause issues. Use the appropriate tool to completely remove any previous versions of Office or Visio before trying to install again. You can find the uninstallation tool here.
    4. Download and Install: If you are trying to download Visio using your key code and encountering error 30033-34, ensure that you are using the correct key for the version you are trying to install. Verify that the key is valid and not tied to a different installation technology.
    5. Check for Updates: Make sure your Windows 11 is fully updated, as updates can sometimes resolve compatibility issues.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.

    Dear Camao,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

Thank you for sharing the details. I looked into this issue and here’s what I found:

The error codes 30033-44 and 30033-34 usually occur when there’s a conflict between different Office installation technologies. Your new PC has Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024, which uses Click-to-Run (C2R) installation. Visio 2013 from your DVD is most likely an MSI-based installer. Microsoft does not support installing MSI-based Office products alongside Click-to-Run products on the same computer. This is why the installation fails.

Additionally, Visio 2013 reached end of support in April 2023 and is not officially supported on Windows 11. Even if you manage to install it, you may encounter compatibility issues.

Please check your Office installation type

    • Open Word or Excel > File > Account > About.
    • If you see “Click-to-Run,” your Office LTSC is C2R.

If Office LTSC is Click-to-Run (most likely), you cannot install Visio 2013 MSI alongside it.

    Options:

    • Uninstall Office LTSC 2024 using Office Uninstall Tool, then install Visio 2013, and reinstall Office using the same technology (MSI).
    • Or upgrade to Visio LTSC 2024 or Visio Plan 2, which are compatible with Office LTSC 2024.

    If both products are Click-to-Run

You would need the Click-to-Run version of Visio 2013, but Microsoft no longer provides downloads for that version. Upgrading is the recommended path.

I understand this is frustrating, especially since you have a valid Visio 2013 license. Unfortunately, due to technology changes and end of support, the most practical solution is to upgrade to a newer Visio version that works with Office LTSC 2024 and Windows 11.

I hope this information helps point you in the right direction. If you run into any issues while trying the steps, or if something still doesn’t feel quite right, please don’t hesitate to reach out again. I’ll do my best to support you however I can.

Looking forward to hearing back from you with any updates or additional details.

    Warm regards,
