Hello @Cantor, Eric
Welcome to the Q&A Community!
Thank you for contacting us regarding the issue with saving attachments from Outlook for iOS to OneDrive. I understand that the files are being saved to a subfolder that you did not select, and you expected them to be stored in the default Attachments folder.
To assist you effectively, I would like to confirm a few details:
- Are you signed in with a personal account (e.g., @hotmail.com, @outlook.com), an education account (e.g., @school.edu), or a work account (e.g., @yourcompany.com)?
- Could you confirm the version of Outlook for iOS and the OneDrive app installed on your iPad?
- When you save an attachment, which exact folder path does it appear in (for example, Accounts/Attachments)?
- Would you like all attachments to be saved in the default Attachments folder, or do you want to specify a custom folder for future saves?
- May I know the steps you took while saving a file? Screenshots of them would be helpful.
Currently, Outlook for iOS does not provide an option to set a custom default folder for saving attachments. The available workaround is:
- Save the attachment to OneDrive using Outlook.
- Use the OneDrive app to move the file to your preferred folder manually.
Please confirm the details requested above, and let me know if you have any other concerns. I am happy to assist you further.
