What is the best way to contact a real person at Microsoft support about my Contacts issue?

I have an issue with some contacts not appearing in the "To:" field of a new email. After extensive but fruitless research and troubleshooting, I submitted the following service request and requested a callback:

Outlook: Contacts in Contact List Don't Appear in To: Field of New Note (#7091300487)

The first call came in the middle of the night when I was asleep. The second call didn't come until this afternoon. I spent over an hour with the representative working on troubleshooting. After a long hold, another rep came on and said "How can I help you?" and was unable to connect me back with the previous rep. After starting anew with this rep, the call disconnected. I have no idea if or when a rep will call again.

I've tried to establish a chat, but when I go through all the steps to contact Microsoft support on the web site, it takes me back to the existing service request, with no option to start a chat.

What is the best way to get in touch with Microsoft support? Do I have to sit around a wait for another call?

Copilot recommendation means asking not Microsoft's but mutual user's support.

Unfortunately, user support incoming phone lines were closed several years ago, and the following link is the single way for contacting. I do not like this support way too.
