Outlook for Mac: I can no longer "search" for emails "From" or "To" a particular person in Outlook Version 16.103 (25110922)-Legacy

I've noticed over the last couple of days, I can no longer use the search bar (top right hand corner) to search for emails from or to a particular person. Even when I choose "All Mailboxes" as opposed to Current Folder or Current Mailbox, nothing comes up.

Has anyone else had the same issue?

It seems you are experiencing issues with the search functionality in Outlook for Mac. While the specific context provided does not directly address Outlook for Mac, there are some general troubleshooting steps that might help resolve your issue:

    1. Check for Updates: Ensure that your Outlook application is up to date. Sometimes, updates can fix bugs related to search functionality.
    2. Rebuild the Search Index: If the search index is corrupted, it may lead to issues with searching. You can try rebuilding the index by going to Outlook Preferences > Search > and then selecting the option to rebuild the index.
    3. Restart Outlook: Sometimes, simply restarting the application can resolve temporary glitches.
    4. Check Mailbox Permissions: If you are searching in shared mailboxes, ensure you have the necessary permissions to access those mailboxes.
    5. Use Different Search Filters: Try using different search terms or filters to see if the results vary. For instance, search by subject or date.
