To remove yourself from a Microsoft family group, you typically need to follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account: Go to the Microsoft account website and log in with your credentials.
    2. Access Family settings: Navigate to the Family section of your account settings.
    3. Leave the family group: You should see an option to leave the family group. Click on it to remove yourself.

If you are unable to remove yourself due to restrictions or if the family adult has passed away, you may need to contact Microsoft support for assistance in updating your account status.

Make sure to check if you have the necessary permissions to make changes to your family group settings, as sometimes certain actions require approval from an adult in the group.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

You will need the Organizer permissions to remove your account from the Family group.

    https://account.microsoft.com/family/home

If you know the Organizer's credentials, you can sign in with that account using the link above and remove your account from the family group. If you don't have access to the Organizer account, try resetting the password if you know and have the security verification methods.

(like the email address or Phone number). Enter the verification code to reset your password and sign in with the organizer account.
