System Center Virtual Machine Manager
A family of System Center products that enable enterprise-wide management of virtual machines.
System Center, including System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM), is licensed based on a subscription model. The licensing for System Center 2025, which is the latest version, is similar to that of System Center 2022. It requires server and client management licenses, and licenses are only needed for the endpoints being managed. The server management licensing is based on physical cores, aligning with the Windows Server 2025 model. Therefore, customers need to purchase System Center to utilize SCVMM and its features.
