To leave a team in Microsoft Teams, you can follow these steps:

    1. Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to the team you want to leave.
    2. Click on the three dots (more options) next to the team name.
    3. Select Leave the team from the dropdown menu.

If you are using the classic Teams client, be aware that it will reach the end of support on July 1, 2025. After this date, you will need to use the new Teams client or the Teams web app to manage your teams effectively.

If you encounter issues while trying to leave a team, ensure that you are signed in with the correct account and that you have the necessary permissions to leave the team.

    Hi @Nguyễn Minh Tuấn

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding you are trying to leave teams. I’d like to ask a few quick questions to better understand the situation and assist you more effectively:

    • Are you trying to leave a Microsoft Teams organization, a specific team, or just sign out of the app?
    • Are you using Teams for personal use or Teams for work/school (Microsoft 365 account) provided by your company or institution?
    • What platform are you using Teams on desktop app, mobile app, or web browser?
    • Are you receiving any error messages when trying to leave? If so, could you share a screenshot (with any personal info hidden)?

Thank you again for your time and understanding. While my initial response may not resolve the issue immediately, I’d like to gather more details about your situation so I can assist you more effectively.

I really appreciate your patience, and I’m here to help. Looking forward to your response!
