Hi @Tobar Anjelique,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum
Regarding your description, it seems you’re concerned about recovering a previous file that was accidentally overwritten.
Even if the file was replaced by another file with the same name, you can check the previous version using Version History. Please refer to this article for details: View the version history of an item or file in a list or library - Microsoft Support
To access Version History:
- Right-click on the file or click the three dots next to it.
- Select Version History.
- You will see a list of older versions of the file.
When you click the drop-down next to a version, you’ll see three options: View, Restore, and Delete.
- First, you can View the old version to confirm it’s the correct file.
- Then, select Restore to recover it.
Please try these steps and let us know if the file is successfully restored. In case you cannot find the previous version, could you please provide us the time you overwrite the file?
Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to hearing from you.
