    Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out, I get how annoying it can be when something you rely on just stops working.

What’s happening here is that Edge uses a Primary Password to protect your saved passwords, and once it’s forgotten, there’s no way to unlock those saved credentials without resetting it.

That’s a security measure to keep your data safe, but yeah, it also means you’ll lose access to the passwords stored under that protection.

To move forward, you’ll need to reset the Primary Password by going to edge://settings/passwords, clicking on “Manage Primary Password,” and choosing the “Forgot” option.

After that, you can set a new one and start saving passwords again.

Just curious, were you syncing your passwords with your Microsoft account?

    Regards, Aron
