AND I KNOW THE PROBLEM IS WITH MY LAPTOP, because I did everything again with the college's computer and it just went smoothly, is it my laptop options? I have a project coming up so please help me.

    Hello Rimas

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum regarding the issue with your Access report. Based on the details you provided, it seems like the issue is tied to your laptop's printer setup. Access reports depend on installed printers for page setup features. If no suitable printer is configured (common on personal laptops without physical printers), changes to orientation and margins may not apply correctly.First, let's add a Virtual Printer:

    1. Head to Windows Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
    2. Hit "Add device." If nothing shows up, click "The printer that I want isn't listed."
    3. Pick "Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings."
    4. Choose a port, like "FILE: Print to File."
    5. In the Manufacturer section, select "Microsoft" and go with "Microsoft Print to PDF" (or "Microsoft XPS Document Writer" if that's not there).
    6. Finish installing it and make it your default printer.
    7. If "Microsoft Print to PDF" isn't an option, search for "Turn Windows features on or off" in the Start menu and enable it there.

Then we can tweak the Report Settings:

Open your report in Design View (right-click in Navigation Pane > Design View).

    1. In the Page Setup tab:
      • Select Landscape orientation.
      • Choose or customize margins (e.g., 0.5 inches via Page Setup dialog).
    2. In the Page Setup dialog (Page tab), set Orientation to Landscape, Paper Size to Letter, and select your new printer.
    3. Widen report sections in Design View to fit landscape (about 10-11 inches).
    4. Save, then check in Print Preview.weak the Report Settings

This should align the behavior with what you experienced on the college computer. If you have any additional concern, feel free to comment below. I be more than happy to assist.
