Cancelled subscription to Realms but still getting charged

I cancelled my subscription to Microsoft Realms on March 26 2022, yet here it is 2025 and Microsoft are still charging my credit card for it every month. I have tried every way I can think of to bring this to their attention but the 'contact us' options all appear to be useless and I have had no response to messages sent that way.

Does anyone here know how I can get in contact with someone to arrange a refund?

This probably isn't the right forum but there are no options that I can find anywhere on the MS Website for anything other than product support!

Thanks,

Thanks for reaching out. That sounds frustrating. First, can you confirm if the Realms subscription still shows as active under your Microsoft account when you sign in at the Services and Subscriptions section?

If it does, select Manage and check if the cancellation went through. To request a refund, contact Microsoft Billing Support by signing in to your Microsoft account, selecting Help or Contact Support, and choosing the billing category. You can then request a callback or chat with an agent to review the charges and process your refund.

Thanks for confirming that. Since the subscription is canceled but charges continue, the next step is to contact your bank or card provider. Ask them to stop the recurring payment and dispute the past charges for the canceled service. They can block future transactions, investigate the billing issue, and arrange a refund if the payments were made in error.

You’re very welcome. I understand that’s not the easiest route, but it’s the most direct way to stop the charges and recover the payments. I’m glad I could help, and I hope everything gets sorted quickly. Take care and don’t hesitate to reach out again if you need more help later on.
