If your needs change, you have the option to switch between Microsoft 365 subscriptions. From Microsoft 365 Personal to Family try this steps.

To switch to a Microsoft 365 subscription with more features, you buy another subscription and start using its benefits straight away.

Buy the Microsoft 365 subscription that you want to switch to. Make sure to use the same Microsoft account as your current subscription when you do this.

The remaining days on your current subscription will automatically convert and get added to your new subscription. The exact number of days will depend on what subscription you're moving from and what you're moving to.
