Desktop Apps are broken with version 140

I am using a the "install as app" function of Edge on my Ubuntu system.

After version 140.0.3485.54-1 the apps will open as normal Edge window and will not stick to the App icon anymore. With version 139.0.3405.125-1 everything is working.

Btw there is no Linux tag :-(

Hi Stefan, thanks for flagging this. It looks like version 140 broke the "Install as App" behavior on Ubuntu apps now open as regular Edge windows instead of sticking to their icons. Since version 139 worked fine, rolling back might be a temporary fix.

You might also want to report this via Edge’s feedback tool, so it gets visibility.

Also, are you seeing this behavior with all apps installed, or just specific ones (e.g., Gmail, Outlook)?

    Chard
