I am trying to open PCM600 for writing to relays. When trying to open the pop up that show is PCM600 has encountered a problem. SQL Server instance not found. Verify that SQL Server is installed and running. Not sure what I am supposed to do. I go into Services and there it shows that SQL Server (PCM SERVER 2014) is running.

    Hi @Donald Rutledge [EXT],

It sounds like PCM600 is pointing to a different SQL Server instance than the one that’s currently running. Please check in SQL Server Configuration Manager to confirm the instance name matches what PCM600 is using. If it still doesn’t connect, I’d suggest reaching out to ABB PCM600 support, as they can confirm the correct SQL setup for their product.

    Thanks,
    Akhil.

I don't know anything about PCM600. If you want answers in the context of that product, I would suggest that you contact the vendor.

It sounds to me that PCM600 is configured to speak to a different SQL Server instance than the one you see, so you would need to change that configuration.
