autoupdate problem

Just bought the new update of Microsoft office for mac. I installed it and now autoupdate keeps encountering error and say upgrade required.

    I understand your Microsoft AutoUpdate is encountering issue that keep saying update require.

    You should try uninstalling AutoUpdate then reinstalling it to see if it fixes the issue. Here is how to do it:

    Quit all Office apps.

    First you need to delete AutoUpdate. In Finder, go to:

    • /Library/Application Support/Microsoft/MAU2.0/
    • If Microsoft AutoUpdate.app is present, move the entire MAU2.0 folder to Trash.

    Download the latest Microsoft AutoUpdate installer and run it. You can download it here:
