I have been trying to submit a device repair order for a Microsoft product via your online service platform. Unfortunately, I am encountering a technical issue that prevents me from completing the process.

Issue Description:

At Step 2 “Payment,” the message “Select a payment method” appears, but no payment options are displayed, and there is no button or dropdown to choose a payment method.

As a result, the “Buy now” button on the final page remains greyed out and inactive, even after I have accepted the terms and conditions.

Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:

Tried the process on multiple devices (PC, laptop)

Used different browsers (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox)

Cleared cache and cookies

Tested in incognito/private mode

Verified that a valid payment method is linked to my Microsoft account

Checked that my account and the repair page are set to the same region (Germany)

Disabled browser extensions such as ad blockers

Restarted the repair process multiple times

Despite all these efforts, the issue persists

Hello Dirk Goeritz, I understand how frustrating it must be to encounter this issue despite taking all the right troubleshooting steps, especially when you're trying to get your device repaired promptly.

One thing you can try is going to your Microsoft Account Profile and making sure your billing address, language, and region are all correctly set to Germany. Also, double-check that the repair portal itself is set to Germany this can usually be confirmed by looking at the URL or the region setting in the footer of the page.

If everything looks correct, try removing and re-adding your payment method to refresh the connection. This has helped some users resolve similar issues.

    Kind regards,

    John Oli
