Trying to download and install office 2024 professional. i am getting a service error each time after I input the product key. it also tells me to try again later.

I bought office 2024 from Groupon.com. I followed the instructions and got a product key. I have already uninstalled the office version that came with my laptop a year ago. Each time I try to download my new office suite I get a server unavailable, please try again later message. I was told my product key is a volume key and to come here for support.

    A “server unavailable” error after entering a product key often means the key is not valid for retail installation—volume keys are intended for organizations, not individual purchase. If you bought your Office license from Groupon and received a volume key, contact Groupon for a refund or support, as these keys are not supported for personal use and may be blocked by Microsoft.
