How do you ensure tasks captured by facilitator carries over across a meeting series

Once the CoPilot Facilitator has been turned on it automatically captures tasks raised during the meeting. Before the end of the meeting I review the tasks with the participants, allocate the tasks and the task owners commit to a date which is captured on that task.

In a meeting series, the tasks from the previous instance is not carried over to the next instance. Is there a way to ensure that this takes place? Then each instance of the meeting series can start with reviewing open tasks from the previous meeting.

    Hi @Joe Strydom

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!

Regarding that  you want to have the tasks from the previous instance is carried over to the next instance.

After I have done some research on the Facilitator app I want to confirm with you that tasks captured by the Copilot Facilitator during meetings do not automatically carry over from one meeting instance to the next in a meeting series. Currently, there is no built-in feature to automatically ensure that tasks raised and assigned in a previous meeting instance carry over to the next meeting in the series.

You can see the "what this app can do in Teams" on Microsoft Team admin center

Personally, I believe this would be a valuable enhancement. Automatically carrying over tasks would improve task management and continuity across meetings. It definitely great improvement to the current availabilities of Microsoft Team apps. In that case, I sincerely recommend you go to Feedback community hare it through the official Microsoft Feedback Portal. This is the best way The Product Team is in-charge of the feedback site, and they are constantly checking the comments and feedback from our customer. Many features have been developed or improved based on users' comment.
