Found the answer on a Reddit thread. Change "You can view and upload community content" to everyone. My daughter can now play again. Yay

everytime i try to play roblox on my laptop it says "Cant play multiplayer games due to how your account is set up, go to your online and privacy settings at xbox.com to change this." but i have all of my settings allowed on there.

I have "You can join multiplayer games" set to allow and I have always had it that way. My account is part of a Microsoft Family Group and as a matter of fact I am the parent unable to play, but my kid who has more restrictive settings is able to play Roblox without issues. The Xbox message i completely generic and contains no valuable information on which exact setting is preventing me from playing any Roblox experiences. Microsoft, could you please fix this?

If your account is part of a Microsoft Family Group, a parent account may need to update these settings on your behalf. Make sure your date of birth on your Microsoft account is correct. Roblox requires you to be over 13 for certain features. After making changes, log out of Roblox and Xbox, then restart your laptop and sign back in.

I am not a part of a family plan or anything like that, and I have everything in my settings set to everyone or unfiltered, trying to fix this issue. I have even logged out of my Xbox and just tried to join Roblox, in which case it prompted me to log in to my Microsoft account, and still continued to block me. can you please tell me what is wrong, because if I need to delete my Xbox account from my laptop, I will.
