I logged in my account on my schools desktop. Then i logged out. But the add account/multiple account section still has my account name there. Then I press on it , it can immediately sign back in without asking for my password. That means now anyone presses my account, they can immediately go in

    Hello @Tessa Heong Yong Qi

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

To help us guide you more accurately, could you please confirm:

    • Is the school computer you're using running Windows or macOS
    • When you first signed in, did you click “Stay signed in to all your apps?” or “Allow my organization to manage your device?”
    • Whose profile is currently signed in on the computer? (Is it your personal account, a shared school account, or someone else’s?)

If you did click “Stay signed in” or “Allow my organization to manage your device,” that may have saved your account credentials directly to the operating system. In that case, signing out from Teams only ends the session, but doesn’t fully remove your account from the device.

To completely log out and protect your privacy, you’ll need to remove the account from Windows Settings:

    1. Open Windows Settings (Start Menu > gear icon️ or press Windows Key + I).
    2. Click on Accounts. Select Access work or school

    1. Find your school account in the list and click on it.
    2. Click Disconnect or Remove, then confirm.

If you’re unable to click the “Disconnect” button, it may require administrator permissions. In that case, please contact your school’s IT admin for assistance.

Once done, your account will be fully removed from the computer. The next time Teams is opened, your name won’t appear, and a password will be required to log in.

Also, you can follow this article to remove your account from school's device: Remove a device from your Microsoft account - Microsoft Support

To prevent this in the future:

When signing in on a shared or public computer, avoid clicking the big “OK” button when asked to stay signed in. Instead, look for the small blue link that says “No, sign in to this app only”, this ensures your account is used only for that session and isn’t saved to the device.

Alternatively, you can use Microsoft Teams on the web (via teams.microsoft.com) instead of the desktop app. This way, your account won’t be saved to the computer, and you can easily clear browser data after use.

We hope this helps you secure your account. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
