Some TikTok Features are Not Working on Windows App

Hi everyone,

I’ve noticed an issue with the TikTok app on my Windows device (downloaded from the Microsoft Store). Some features don’t seem to work the same way they do on mobile.

For example, when I type TikTok’s special emoji codes (like [happy], [proud], etc.), they don’t convert into the secret TikTok emojis. On my phone, these work perfectly and show the hidden emoji designs, but on my PC they just stay as text.

I’ve tried reinstalling the app and making sure Windows is updated, but the problem is still there. It makes me think that either the Windows version of TikTok doesn’t fully support these features, or something is missing in the app integration.

Question: Is anyone else facing the same issue with TikTok features on Windows? And is there any fix, or do we just have to wait for TikTok/Microsoft to roll out better support?

Thanks in advance!

    Hello!

I couldn't find any documentation on this, but I tested it on my computer and TikTok doesn't seem to have this feature.

This feature varies from app to app. For example, WhatsApp has a similar feature, and it works.

You can recommend the TikTok developer.
