I need help understanding how to get more memory and understanding Onedrive. I get so many trying to sell me other options. I did not know I could get more memory storage from onedrive

My issue is need more space for onedrive. Need help with doing this and getting rid of other competitors that have tricked me in using there products. I am so confused Ed Field

    I know it can be confusing to come across different products, especially when you’re simply trying to find the right way to get more space in OneDrive. 

    Could you please let me know if you’re using a personal account or a work or school account, and if you have any subscription? This will help me guide you more accurately. 

    For personal account, here’s how storage is offered: 

    -Free accounts usually start with 5 GB of space. 

    -If you have a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription, your OneDrive storage increases to 1 TB per user.

    If you need more space, you have two main options: 

    -If you’re on a free account, you can upgrade by purchasing a Microsoft 365 subscription. 

    -If you already have Microsoft 365 Personal or Family, you can add up to 10 TB of additional storage on top of the 1 TB that’s already included.  

    Please note that for Microsoft 365 Family, additional storage can be purchased by the subscription holder, and the extra space will only apply to the account that makes the purchase. Additional storage is not available for Microsoft 365 Basic or free accounts.
