Is there a way in OneDrive to share a folder so that only the people I specifically share it with can edit, and no one else can? Currently, I can share with specific individuals, but they can still re-share with others, which I cannot control.

    Hi Giang,

Yes, you can definitely restrict OneDrive folder sharing so that only the people you specify can access and edit it and importantly, they won’t be able to re-share it with others. Try these steps below.

    1. Go to OneDrive online.
    2. Find the folder you want to share, right-click it, and select “Share”.
    3. In the sharing settings:
      • Click the current link setting (e.g., “Anyone with the link can edit”).
      • Select “Specific people”.
      • If you want to give view-only access, uncheck “Allow editing” otherwise, leave it checked.
      • Make sure to uncheck “Allow forwarding” to prevent others from re-sharing the folder.
      • Click “Apply”.
    4. Enter the email addresses of the people you want to share with.
    5. Click “Send” or “Copy link” to share it manually.

Let me know if that works.

    Best,
    Jeric
