I have a Microsoft 365 Family Edition license. That comes with the mobile version of OneNote, which I have installed and have used for years, on my Samsung phone. Tonight, I wanted to look something up in one of the notebooks on my phone, when I thought I would tap on my profile image. It showed that I have two accounts, one for home and the other for my work account, which surprised me. I try to keep the two accounts separate. Anyway, it appears to me to selected on my work account. I don't want that and wanted to change it to my personal account. Only it refuses to let me change to my personal account. I tab on my personal account, but nothing happens. How in heck am I supposed to change to my personal account on my phone, when it refuses to let me?Addendum: I checked to see if there were similar questions and found that there was one from someone else a few months ago. The answer to that person's question is that OneNote for Android allows for both accounts to appear within OneNote. Well, that's a surprise, especially since I made no effort to add my work account to my OneNote for Android. How did that happen? How it heck to I remove my work account from my OneNote on my phone?

Hi, I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.
Select your profile picture in the top left corner > Select "Sign out of OneNote" at the bottom of the screen > OK.

This will sign out from both accounts, now log only into your personal account.

    Hi,

I have the exact same problem as described by the OP.

    Samsung , android phone.

I've tried clearing the app cache, data, uninstalling OneNote, reinstalling, with no result.

After reinstall, welcome screen gives 2 options: default account (the one i don't want to sign in) and add another account. In this welcome screen if I chose to add another account a black screen is shown. Nothing more happens.

OneNote 'choses' the default account for me and does not let me log out or chose another one as default. Only after forcefully logging in the "default" can i add the account i want to use. When i chose to sign out i am signed out and I'm back to the beginning.

So , yes can relate ro the OP problem, but have not found a solution. Sorry.

    Thank you.
